Hi Everyone,

The Medication Management Working Group met on June 20th, 2017.

Items discussed were:

1) Community membership and hot topics of discussion on the forum.
2) The working group member list has been updated with the bios for our two newest members.
3) The proposed content list was reviewed, and members have taking responsibility for different topics to highlight on the community.

Next meeting will be July 12th, 2017 at 12 p.m. EST.

Hi Everyone,

The Medication Management working group convened on May 23rd, 2017.

Items discussed included:
Follow-up with members to see if they had reached out to new medication management stakeholders to join the community.
Continued encouragement to post interesting links under the 4 resources tabs. The resources are building up.

The meeting scheduled for June 6th is cancelled. The next planned meeting is June 20 at 12p.m. EST.

Hi Everyone,

The Medication Management Working Group met on May 9th, 2017.

Items discussed were:

1) The community description has been updated to better reflect the community's goal and purpose.
2) The group felt an additional "resources" thread for consumer resources for medication safety is needed. A new thread has been started and community members are encouraged to post resources.
3) The working group is continuing outreach activities to increase membership and awareness of the community.
4) Focus for the next community activities were discussed, and planning has begun.
5) We have 2 new working group members. Their information will be added shortly to the working group documents

Next meeting will be May 23rd, 12 p.m. EST.

Hi Everyone,

I just realized, I forgot to post a summary of our April 11th meeting.

The summary below will then include details from the April 11th meeting, and today's meeting (April 27th).

Items that were discussed:

1) The new "resources" threads on e-prescribing, medication management and opioids have had great uptake and feedback. We encourage all members to continue to post to the resources threads on a regular basis.
2) Community members are encouraged to post their introductions and pictures.
3) The community description will be updated to better reflect the current focus of the community.
4) Community metrics were reviewed and current engagement methods have been successful.
5) We discussed the upcoming webinar on May 3rd "Introduction to the New National Drug Terminology-Canadian Clinical Drug Data Set."

Next meeting will be May 9th at 12 p.m. EST.

Hi Everyone,

The Medication Management Working Group met on March 28th, 2017.

Few of the items that were discussed:

1) New folders have been requested to organize the document section on the community.
2) New threads will be started to allow sharing of resources on key areas of interest for the community (e-prescribing, medication management and opioids). A working group member will create a forum post to inform members.
3) New working group to launch soon to review clinical and technical requirements to allow clinicians to receive opioid dosing information in milligram morphine equivalents. More details to follow.

Next meeting will be April 11th at 12 p.m. EST.
