The purpose of this call is to introduce participants to the Canadian Clinical Drug Data Set.

The Canadian Clinical Drug Data Set provides a consistent approach to the identification and naming of medications and medical devices, and will be freely available for use in digital health solutions such as e-prescribing.

Guided by an advisory group made up of Canadian industry experts, Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) and Health Canada have established a partnership in the development of this new national drug terminology.
