Hi Everyone,

The Medication Management Working Group met on October 17th, 2017. Sorry for the delay in posting this.

Items discussed were:

1) Review of list of proposed content for the community. Seema to follow-up individually with WG members who have committed to content posting.
2) Lisa and Seema will present a session on the Medication Management Community at Partnership Conference on November 15th. Key themes from the community forum will be highlighted, and feedback will be solicited from attendees on tailoring content.
3) Next meeting will be November 21st at 12 p.m. EST. Please note the date change.

Hi Everyone,

The Medication Management Working Group met on September 12, 2017.

Items discussed were:

1) Review of hot topics such as CHIR's recent assessment of the Canadian Guideline for Opioids for Chronic Non-Cancer Pain, and Health Canada's consultation on the non-prescription availability of low-dose codeine products.
2) The Working Group members agreed future meetings will be held on a monthly basis. Meetings will take place the third Tuesday of each month, and the next meeting will be October 17th at 12 p.m. E.S.T.

Hi Everyone,

Three members of the MMWG connected on Tuesday, August 29th 2017.

Items discussed:
1. The petition from harm reduction workers sent to the Ontario government and the pending announcement (released just after the meeting: news.ontario.ca/mohltc/en/2017/08/ontario-providing-support-to-those-affected-by-opioid-crisis.html )
2. The merging of medication-related communities on the CHI platform and how to optimize participation of key individuals for targeted discussions
3. Going forward, to re-examine the frequency of MMWG meetings

The Medication Management Working Group met on August 15, 2017.

Items discussed were:

1) Review of membership (great increase in members recently) and hot topics.
2) Continue planning for upcoming webinars, and other featured content.

Just a reminder, the Working Group is always interested in having new members join. If you are interested in helping guide content for our community, please review the Terms of Reference and contact me through InfoCentral messaging (top right-hand corner of your screen, my user name: snayani).

Next meeting will be August 29th, 2017 at 1 p.m. EST (please note the time change).

Items discussed were:

1) Review of the Canadian Clinical Drug Data Set discussion on the community, membership and other hot topics.
2) Continue planning for upcoming webinars, and other featured content.

August 1st meeting will be cancelled due to vacations. Next meeting will be August 15th, 2017 at 12 p.m. EST.
