We have an upcoming consultation session for our CIHR planning project on modernizing sex and gender information practices in electronic health records on March 24th at 12-1pm ET. The group will be discussing policy in terms of 'What is or should be in place to guide sex and gender info practices in EHRs, e.g. principles, legislations, strategies, directives, regulations, privacy protection'.
In preparation for the meeting, the planning project folder (

a) 'Consultation process' details the aim and timeline of our planning project.
b) 'Consultation Session 1' – Policy provides the slide deck will be used as our guide for the session. If you are unable to attend the session, we welcome your feedback either by emailing us or through entering notes in the slide deck.
c) The 'Treasury Board's policy direction on modernizing sex and gender' provides an example of current national policy initiatives,
d) The 'Information Letter' details the consent process and we ask you to review it prior to participating in the consultation process
