Thought this would be of interest. The following article recently came out of OHA's Healthscape. This is about the system, known as the Champlain BASE eConsult (short for Building Access to Specialists through eConsultation), started by Dr. Clare Liddy and Dr. Erin Keely from Ontario.
In its 2017 budget, the Ontario government committed rolling out eConsult across the province. Quebec, Manitoba, Alberta, Newfoundland, and New Brunswick have now implemented eConsult. Primary care providers in Nunavut are also using the system.
