Hi Wendy, just to confirm, if we wanted to communicate the "Licensing authority" assigned role, we'd send:

<code code="21581000087102" codeSystem="2.16.840.1.113883.6.96"/>

Correct?

On the January 5th 2016 monthly HL7 pan-Canadian Standards review call, it was confirmed the TerritorialAuthorityRoleType value set will be implemented and require 2 concepts: licensing authoring and non licensing authority.

The concepts now have the following confirmed details:
CodeName
21581000087102Licensing authority (qualifier value)
21591000087100Non licensing authority (qualifier value)

Terminology: SNOMED CT
Terminology ID: 2.16.840.1.113883.6.96

This information will be updated in the next release of the TerritorialAuthorityRoleType value set.

Given that the length is obviously not an issue, why is "HONOR" suggested instead of "HONORARY?"
