Thank you Ken and Vania for resolving any outstanding questions. A search was done in the HL7 Registry using the
symbolic name: ca-QHR
Description and Full Name: QHR, QHR Technologies and QHR Tech
These searches yielded nothing. The OID will be registered by EOD tomorrow (March 17th 2020).
Thanks,
Joel

Previous reply from Ken
Hi Vania,
No, we do not have an OID for QHR registered under HL7.
We just wanted to make sure that QHR didn’t plan on creating their own OIDs (under their newly registered OID) in conflict with the Ontario EHR OIDs that we are currently creating for them.
QHR requested a type 4 OID and they will not create any other subsequent OIDs using this type 4 OID so their should be no conflict

Hello!
Ken Sinn from Ontario Health Digital Services here.
Currently, Ontario Health assigns OIDs to identify QHR EMR Instances within the Ontario EHR ecosystem (for connectivity through ONE ID).
Does QHR envision there being any overlap in your planned usage of your Vendor Root OID and the OIDs being assigned by Ontario Health?
Feel free to contact us at Ontario Health (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), we can have a quick call to help clarify.
