There will be two opportunities to present at FHIR North this year: FHIR Academy and CodeCamp.
Both presentation types will focus on how FHIR can/has been applied in Canadian and international healthcare communities, however the CodeCamp presentations are expected to be more hands-on practicum focused.
FHIR Academy:
Presenters are invited to give a scheduled 10 minute oral presentation with 5 minutes for audience questions.
If the content you’re presenting on requires more time, there will also be an option of a 30 minute presentation slot (20 minutes with 10 minutes for audience questions).
CodeCamp:
Presenters are invited to give a 20 minute deep dive into a particular application of FHIR. In previous years, topics of CodeCamp presentations have been focused on deepening a technical audience’s understanding of: SMART-on-FHIR, FHIR-enabled eReferral, CDS Hooks, etc.
Improving the quality of patient care through the effective sharing of clinical information among health care organizations, clinicians and their patients.
