Review
• Michael reviewed updated Canadian Core Project Plan document with workstream

docs.google.com/presentation/d/1w98EOZh1ZDfyJfF6V6Jav7xyIXQ25NgyJQNZjTGTsuQ/edit?usp=sharing

• Feedback from Community was generally positive

• Bi-weekly stream meetings will alternate between Profiling and Governance focus; see Meeting Schedule slide in Project Plan (link above)

Discussion

• Re: external stakeholder engagement portion of Governance Plan
o Should have a way of providing a non-technical view of the draft core profiles (and/or the other project documentation as well) for non-technical stakeholders
o Can model our stakeholder engagement approach after successful key engagements (such as the eReferral project)

• Re: Connectathon
o At the end of the connectathon, should do a ‘clinicians on FHIR’ session’; gives us a chance to see what they’re looking for in data exchange and if the Canadian Core initiative is in a position to assist with that; implementers can help facilitate providing this context

• Ideally there are contributors with a clinical lens all in all work items in the project
o Can we find a way to have a ‘bank’ of clinical questions that we send out to the right people and bring back the responses?

Next Steps - Profiling Meeting June 21st 2019

• Should choose which 5 profiles we’ll schedule for the next Profiling meeting

• Should start with Patient resource

• Plan for next meeting
o Start with a demo of the profiling tools (Simplifier/GitHub)
o Demo of how to comment / provide rationale for profiling decisions made during edits (capturing decisions, feedback, other input)
o Do a review / analysis of the Patient resource as a way of applying these tools & processes

• For profiling division of work going forward from the June 21st meeting, sign-up sheet seems to make sense

Hi all,

The agenda for the June 7th (2-3pm EST) stream meeting is below:

1. Review - Walk-through of the revised draft of the Project Plan (link below) (focus will be on the net-new content)
2. Discussion - Feedback on planned structure and discuss next steps

The earlier 'Scope and Principles' google deck has been built out to cover more plans (governance plan requirements, timelines, meeting structure, etc.); feel free to review and continue to provide comments in advance of the meeting: docs.google.com/presentation/d/1w98EOZh1ZDfyJfF6V6Jav7xyIXQ25NgyJQNZjTGTsuQ/edit?usp=sharing
