eHealth 2019- events/exhibitions to share
o Infoway booth - no presentations expected re: FHIR focus

• John reporting out- eHealthOntario collecting comments on draft of implementation guide
Collect comments, consolidate, then republish
In the middle of trial testing/vendor community- implementation driving the spec
• CareDove, System Coordinated Access, Research Consortium
• R4, some flavors of smart-on-FHIR
• Formatting for IG particularly effective
• Question: Any tie in of this work at upcoming FHIR Connectathon- May in Montreal

• Reviewed US eReferral Spec for chronic disease management pathways- may inform evolution of eHealth Ontario format
Went through and defined clinical profiles, 10 different versions of observation profile- whereas Ontario focused on workflow of the profiles since they are relying on baseline process to determine what clinical profiles should look like

Canadian FHIR Baseline Progress
• Developing charter
• Going into 3rd working group meeting (every other Friday 2-3 pm)
• Active forum participation and meeting participation
• Living document- vision statement, scope of what we'll be delivering, principles guiding the approach
• Two parallel priorities:
Need to get something on paper, draft version of full set of Canadian profiles for folks to react and collaborate around
Also have work on documenting governance process for profiles and what is informing the decision points
• Will have some folks from eHealth Ontario discuss governance lessons learned in past projects
