Updates from HL7 Working Group meeting
- R5 to be released in Q3 2020
- Fire.ly Forge and Simplifier.net to be updated by May 2019
- Meeting notes will now be on Confluence - tied to your HL7 membership
- Github will replace SVN
- Using Aegis Touchstone and Mitre Crucible for Connectathon testing of FHIR profiles

Canadian FHIR Baseline Profiles
- Formalization as a discrete workstream in the near future
- Discuss the core principles and objectives
- Infoway Access Health update
○ working with Atlantic provinces
○ next step is integrating with Labs and Medication History - discovery phase underway
○ Gevity to begin semantic modeling to use R4
○ bring forward to this community
○ Align with Argonaut project first because of expected US uptake (e.g. Apple) and then look around (e.g. US or Canada-based Ontario iGuides)
○ Argonaut has ported their specifications to R4 already
○ Mandate will expand to the entire E H R so this could become a strong baseline
○ Using Github and Simplifier for the Access project and will be shared in the public realm
○ Linda raised that there already has been a review of some value sets e.g. Observation and Encounter resources available in Simplifier.net under the Canadian Baseline Examples

eReferral Workstream
- Deploying the APIs based on the workstream work between Think Research and Caredove (user acceptance testing)
- Beginning the documentation phase to complete the updates to the Ontario eReferral iGuide
- Goal is to have it completed by April 2019 - ready for review by implementers
- Working on assigning a PM for oversight
- What would be the method of review?
- ACTION: Michael to add discussion item for next Community call? Should this continue to be listed as an Ontario iGuide or how do we title it when more than one P/T is using it (eReferral iGuide is applicable beyond Ontario)

Tooling Workstream
- No updates

Solution Architecture Workstream
- Working on items related to Baseline profiles (e.g. gender identity)
- Invited presenter from the Netherlands on their experience building vendor engagement around FHIR - Friday, Feb 8, 2 - 3 PM
- Need to download a new set of meeting invites for 2019 (can do so from the infocentral.infoway-inforoute.ca/en/news-events/event-calendar/icalrepeat.detail/2019/01/11/2834/-/fhir-solution-architecture)
- ACTION: Attila to provide technical overview of Access Health after the contract is signed

SMART on FHIR Workstream
- No major updates/ on hold
- Infoway Access Health will support SMART on FHIR


Summary of Action Items
- ACTION : Michael to add discussion item for next Community call? Should this continue to be listed as an Ontario iGuide or how do we title it when more than one P/T is using it (eReferral iGuide is applicable beyond Ontario)
