file New SNOMED CT COVID-19 Tradename codes now available!

Please find below the new SNOMED CT COVID-19 codes.
They are in scope for the March 2021 CA Edition, and can be pre-adopted as needed. Don’t hesitate to share this notification with anyone that is not a member of this Forum.

NOTE that the descriptions are draft as we currently do not have all of the information to make these final.
If you attended the last CVC meetings, some adjustments were done as follows. The changes made are:
  • FSN : lower case for Ribonucleic Acid, dose form, no diluent, added Pzifer as part of the manufacturer/MAH, semantic tag
  • PT : manufacturer/MAH abbreviation
