SNOMED CT has been bridging the EHR/EMR databases in different countries to build up a network for large-scale analysis on the demographics, clinical features, treatment, and health outcomes of COVID-19 patients. The implementation of SNOMED CT in a broader scope will help the global community to prepare for the next-wave of COVID-19 and the next communicable disease.
