IHE Radiology Technical Framework Supplement Published for Public Comment

Hello IHE Canada Community Members,

The IHE Radiology Technical Committee has published the following new Technical Framework Supplement for public comment in the period from May 9 through May 31, 2024:

• Imaging Diagnostic Report (IDR) - Rev. 1.0 New!

The document is available here . Comments submitted by May 31, 2024 will be considered by the IHE Radiology Technical Committee in developing the trial implementation version of the supplement. Please submit your comments at Radiology Public Comments .

GUIDANCE FOR REVIEWERS:

Everyone is very welcome to weigh in on all the Open Issues and review the entire document for gaps and clarifications. For those who are pressed for time, we would particularly like feedback from the following stakeholders on the following sections.

Clinicians:

• X.4.2.4.1.* Report Processing Use Cases
• Open Issues (skim the first sentence of each, pick and choose)
• Perhaps see if the Example sections in 6.Z.3.* are missing anything interesting

• X.4.2.2.1 Report Storage & Distribution Use Case (Query patterns)
• 6.Z.3.* Imaging Diagnostic Report Encodings
• Open Issues (skim the first sentence of each, pick and choose)
