All,

It would be critical to get feedback from the community on this subject before the end of day Friday, as the NIB deadline is July 7th.

The Order and Observation (OO) group has a questions/request regarding the requirement to keep V3, Lab Results artifact to stay active (#1873 : www.hl7.org/special/Committees/projman/searchableProjectIndex.cfm?action=edit&ProjectNumber=1873)

The ANSI certification of this artifact will expire in January 2025. ANSI certified expired artifacts can still be used by the community but will no longer be maintained and will no longer be ANSI certified.

The OO Group would like to know if there are strong justification to reaffirm the HL7 Version 3 Standard: Laboratory; Result, Release 1 artifact.
