Hey Randy

Thanks for your feedback.

For the PrescribeIT project Oracle would like to use an OID that is under Canada Health Infoway instead of using their own specific OID.

This OID will only be used in the context of PrescribeIT

Regards
Vania

I would suggest that you get an OID for Oracle, and use the value to distinguish between installations.
Eg oid 1.2.3 (not the actual oid) value = "Oracle Health Ontario"
value = "Oracle Health Manitoba"
value = "Oracle Health Canada"

Similarly for whatever other contexts are needed.

Recommend:
Set the name of the OID to "Oracle Health", symbolic to "caOracleHealth"

Modify the description to something like "Vender OID to represent Oracle Health systems within Canada". Gives more flexibility this way - as you can reuse the oid with different values to reperesent any Oracle Health system.
