Have you heard about LOINC (Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes) and ever wondered what it is and why it is such an important contributor to better patient outcomes? This beginner level education session is designed for anyone interested in becoming acquainted with the terminology standard used for identifying laboratory and clinical observations in health information systems.
This session will provide:
An introduction to LOINC and pCLOCD (pan-Canadian version of LOINC)
Additional information on how to use this terminology and contribute to its on-going evolution
A snapshot view of where LOINC/pCLOCD are making a difference in health care in Canada today. Come join us to learn more.
