This is the second webinar in the Standards Webinar series, and is designed for anyone interested in becoming acquainted with the terminology standard used for identifying laboratory and clinical observations in health information systems.

This session will provide:
  • An introduction to LOINC ((Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes) and pCLOCD (pan-Canadian version of LOINC)
  • Additional information on how to use this terminology and contribute to its on-going evolution
  • A snapshot view of where LOINC/pCLOCD are making a difference in health care in Canada today
