Reminder the Infoway EI Community will be having our final webinar series for this season on Friday May 13, 2022 12:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) on the topic: "What You Must Know about Cybersecurity for Healthcare and Imaging"
Healthcare sector across Canada has been undergoing an ongoing digital transformation with introduction of Software as a services (SaaS) solutions, Cloud inter-operability, Modern IoT Medical Devices, Shared PACS technology infrastructure and more importantly Health Information Custodian (HICs) collaborating across Shared Health Information Systems (HIS). Although these technological developments bring better care to patients and allow for easier collaboration between healthcare practitioners, they also bring new risks. Cybersecurity incidents and data breaches can compromise sensitive data and ultimately endanger care services.
During this session we will discuss key threat vector motives, their techniques and tactics for Technology system compromise and best practice recommendations. Raheel Qureshi leads the Incident Response activity for iSecurity and has been at front and center of Ransomware negotiations for multiple healthcare organizations who are targeted with large scale Cyber-attacks and has key lessons to share.
Raheel Qureshi is co-founder of iSecurity and has over 15 years of experience helping organizations excel in the areas of cybersecurity, Cloud andDigitalIT architecture in a variety of industries including financials, Public, private and healthcare sector. He has an established record ofworking with the Ministry and multiple Boards to transform the entire Digital Footprint and Cybersecurity across multiple industries.
He has also been involved with different mergers and acquisitions and have recently completed a large transaction to merging his company with one of Canada’s largest Publicly traded company called Calian Group.
