Hello Everyone,
Please see below announcement from DICOM regarding DICOM Standard Committee Vendor Co-Chair election results.

Dear DICOM Community,
The results of the DSC Vendor Co-Chair election are complete, and I’m pleased to announce that DSC has a new vendor co-chair. On behalf of the DICOM secretariat, I offer congratulations to new Vendor Co-chair Brad Genereaux, Medical Imaging Alliance Manager for NVIDIA.
Congratulations Brad – we look forward to working with you. Thank you for making yourself available to serve in this capacity and to NVIDIA for providing such excellent subject matter experts and WG leaders.
Please join me in formally welcoming Brad to his new DICOM Standard Committee (DSC) leadership position.
About the new Vendor Co-chair, Brad Genereaux:
Brad is a passionate, engaged, and experienced healthcare and medical imaging leader, who evangelizes the ubiquitous adoption and integration of seamless medical workflows into every day clinical practice, with a keen focus on artificial intelligence. He has nearly 20 years of industry experience in hospital, radiology and enterprise imaging IT, specializing in turnkey healthcare interoperability at scale. He advocates for standards and collaboration across DICOM, HL7, and IHE, and has contributed to both the development and adoption of them.
Through DICOM WG-27 Web Technologies, where Brad served as industry co-chair from 2013-2019, he contributed to the development of DICOMweb services, broadening the support from a retrieval service into a full medical imaging web API specification. Serving as co-chair for DICOM WG-20 Integration of Imaging and information Systems from 2016-2019, jointly with HL7 Imaging Integration, he collaborated with the communities to bring imaging deeper within the broader healthcare interoperability ecosystem of HL7 and FHIR. He evangelizes DICOM as a member of DICOM WG-29 Education, Communication and Outreach, through efforts like chairing the 2015 DICOM conference and hackathon, contributing to the renewal of DICOM’s internet presence, evangelizing and educating others about DICOM at conferences across 4 continents, and through publishing papers in Journal for Digital Imaging (JDI). He is a fervent supporter of fostering inclusive healthcare communities to drive innovation and adoption in a field that touches all of us.
We also thank former DSC Vendor Co-chair Jeroen Medema, Philips, for his time and contributions as outgoing DSC Co-Chair – thank you, Jeroen!
Kind regards,
Luiza
