file exam room naming convention

Hi there, does anyone know of a current standard in naming diagnostic imaging acquisition units (exam rooms)?
We are looking into standardizing the naming convention of acquisition units in both the RIS and PACS and ideally having the name of the exam room match in both applications.
For example we could have CBOR or CBCARM. These both represent a C-arm device used in the operating room within a hospital at Cape Breton. We would like to follow a standard if there is one out there?
