•After July 1, 2019, an official ballot will go out to voting members of DICOM Standard Committee (DSC) and WG-29 Education, Communication and Outreach (ECO) to select a winner.

Hello DI Community,

Please see below message from DICOM regarding a new logo:

Dear members of DICOM Community,

During the last DICOM WG-29 ECO (Education Communication and Outreach) meeting in Rennes, France on 4 April, there was a proposal to considering updating our current DICOM logo.

DICOM is an active standard and as such, we have been reviewing various visual elements to ensure they reflect the dynamic flow of our work. The major refresh of the DICOM website and updates to various templates have been completed to update our brand. The current DICOM logo is over 20 years old, so we thought this would be a good time to collect feedback and even some proposed designs for a refreshed DICOM logo.

If you have any creative ideas for the new logo, please send us an example or any thoughts by June 1, 2019 to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
We would love to get your feedback and hear the new ideas for an updated DICOM logo.
