Hi all,

Two quick update items around the PS-CA v1.1.0 DFT Release.

1) TGZ Package now available on Simplifier.net

The release announcement noted that the TGZ Package was delayed, awaiting the publication of the latest FHIR Extensions Registry. The Extensions Registry Package has been released, so the PS-CA v1.1.0 DFT package is also now available on Simplifier.net

The Extensions Registry publication includes a new extension that allows the use of "Notes" extension for the Composition.section, for implementations where Notes are being captured at the section level (e.g. Medications section, Allergies/Intolerances section rather than as a note on a specific medication or allergy/intolerance).

2) CVC > NVC Migration

As part of the transition from the Canadian Vaccine Catalogue to the National Vaccine Catalogue , there were questions around the impact to PS-CA v1.1.0 DFT .

We are pleased to share that the PS-CA v1.1.0 DFT does not use the CVC ValueSets, and is instead using equivalent ValueSets hosted on the Terminology Gateway. The CA Core+ similarly uses the same ValueSets. Note that the SiteOfAdministration ValueSet is still in the process of migration, expected at the end of the month (May 2024). The PS-CA v1.1.0 DFT binding for Immunization.site is currently "example", so implementers will be able to use the ValueSet once it is released.

Thank you for your attention,

Ken, on behalf of the interoperability team.
