Hello
Do you plan to include the "patient and clinician friendly" descriptions in the near future? There are initiatives across the country who require these descriptions. If yes, when do you plan to make these available?
thankyou

Good afternoon everyone,
Today marks the launch of the National Vaccine Catalogue's first release <nvc-cnv.canada.ca/en/vaccine-catalogue >, a significant milestone in providing nationwide vaccine-related information to support standardized data collection, vaccine coverage surveillance, life cycle management of vaccines, and immunization programming. This initial release contains vaccine data from 2015 to March 24, 2024, with the next release scheduled for Friday, April 5, 2024.
Please also find attached a transition guide to the NVC that The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) worked on together with Canada Health Infoway. This resource offers users insights into some differences between NVC and the Canadian Vaccine Catalogue (CVC), and to help facilitate the adoption of the NVC for interested users. Infoway’s SNOMED CT Canadian Edition v.Feb 29, 2024 release served as the foundation for this effort.
