Canadian lab terminology implementers can now update to the latest pan-Canadian LOINC Observation Code Database release ( R06.21.00_2.78 ). Informed by the latest available LOINC release v2.78, evaluating and processing requests for change, community guidance and contributions. pCLOCD is available on both the Infoway Terminology Gateway and our new FHIR Terminology Server .

This release contains some important changes to the structure of the pCLOCD nomenclature table for improved usability of the standard. In addition, we are aligning to LOINC and no longer offer the Microsoft access version of pCLOCD. Learn about all of these changes and other highlights in our implementer release notes .

We continue to expand the Canadian French translation of LOINC terms with each release and this includes translating new terms and updating existing revised terms. Thank you to the Translation working group for their ongoing support and dedication to this valuable work.
