Standards Release: SNOMED CT CA Edition Release Coming Soon

Infoway will be releasing the latest version of the Canadian Edition of SNOMED CT at the end of August. 

SNOMED CT is the largest and most comprehensive medical terminology in the world. The SNOMED CT CA Edition extends the SNOMED CT International Edition with Canadian-specific requirements and is maintained by Canada Health Infoway.

The August 2024 SNOMED CT CA Edition will be available via the Terminology Gateway on August 31, 2024.

The SNOMED CT CA Edition will also be available using the Beta release of the new FHIR terminology server. Please see the user access guide for more information.
