March 2024 pCLOCD release is now available

Latest pan-Canadian LOINC Observation Code Database (pCLOCD) release R05.20.00_2.77 is now available for review and implementation accessible from Terminology Gateway.

Highlights of this release includes:

  • Updates based on February LOINC® 2.77 release:
    • LOINC’s collaboration with SNOMED International resulted in the improved modeling and representation of the System axis “Respiratory”. 17 Concepts with system “Respiratory” have been updated.
    • As part of the Semi-Quantitative Clean up project, (32) Challenge and (5) Chemistry Class Concepts that had Property value "PrThr" and Scale “SemiQn” that were reverted back to Scale “Ordinal”.
  • Changes based on pCLOCD Community:
    • Requests for change resulted in the addition of 11 existing multi-class LOINC Codes and 4 Newly published LOINC codes in v2.77 in English and French
    • Corrections to multi-attributes in LOINC records applied in English and French.
