September 2023 pCLOCD release is now available

Latest pan-Canadian LOINC Observation Code Database (pCLOCD) release R05.19.00_2.75 is now available for review and implementation accessible from Terminology Gateway.

Highlights of this release includes:

  • Updates based on August LOINC® 2.75 release:
    • LOINC’s collaboration with SNOMED International resulted in deprecation and recreation of Allergy class codes to remove ambiguity in the Component names
    • New LOINC Method (RAST) and Scale (SemiQn) attributes were introduced and applied as edits
  • Changes based on pCLOCD Community:
    • Requests for change submissions resulted in the addition of 105 existing multi-class LOINC Codes in EN and FR
    • Corrections to multi-attributes in LOINC records applied in EN and FR
