Publication of SNOMED CT Canadian Edition: April 21, 2023

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the March 31, 2023, release of the Canadian edition of SNOMED CT has been delayed to April 21, 2023.

If you need the content from the release sooner, you can find the concept identifiers, additional descriptions, translations, and relationships in the Infoway Request Management System (InfoRMS).

The March 2023 SNOMED CT-CA release that will be published on April 21, will include the high-quality content you have come to expect:

• 1,062 requests to add, change, or retire content
• 1,828 concept translations
• More than 50 subset updates to support implementations across the country such as the PS-CA, Immunization and the Canadian Institute for Health Information’s (CIHI) Primary Health Care program
• Updated release notes and editorial guidelines
