Participate in updating SNOMED International’s Implementation Guide for Allergies

feedback bubbles

The SNOMED International Allergy Clinical Reference Group (CRG) is looking for community participation to update the unpublished implementation guide for allergies drafted in 2015.

With growing interest for recording allergies using SNOMED CT concepts and using HL7 FHIR to exchange that information, the Allergy CRG has prioritized updating the guide for publication as an official SNOMED CT guide. Netherlands, Belgium, United States, and other countries have already agreed to participate.

The SNOMED International allergies/hypersensitivity and intolerance CRG was established to ensure that the requirements of clinicians are incorporated into the content of SNOMED CT International Release and to support the development of derivative products that will support implementations focused on the allergies/hypersensitivity and intolerance specialty.
