The New SNOMED CT CA Edition is now available

The September 30, 2020 version of the Systematized NOmenclature of MEDicine Clinical Terms (SNOMED CT®) Canadian English and French Edition is now available for reference and implementation.

Infoway continues to promote Canadian concepts to the SNOMED International version, which enables Canadian stakeholders to continue using the initial codes provided, seamlessly. This version includes translated terms, immunization updates and new concepts to support diverse Canadian implementation projects. The Canadian Edition of SNOMED CT includes all translated terms from the SNOMED CT Common French Translation Extension, with translation done by Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Canada, and PHAST(France).
