The fifth annual Apps for Health and FHIR North Conference 2019 is a “must attend” event for all Canadian FHIR enthusiasts as well as the digital health industry at large, October 15 & 16, 2019 at Mohawk College, Hamilton, Ontario.
There will be two opportunities to present at FHIR North this year: FHIR Academy & CodeCamp.
Both presentation types will focus on how FHIR can/has been applied in Canadian and international healthcare communities, however the CodeCamp presentations are expected to be more hands-on practicum focused.
FHIR Academy
Presenters are invited to give a scheduled 10 minute oral presentation with 5 minutes for audience questions. If the content you’re presenting on requires more time, there will also be an option of a 30 minute presentation slot (20 minutes with 10 minutes for audience questions).
CodeCamp
Presenters are invited to give a 20 minute deep dive into a particular application of FHIR. In previous years, topics of CodeCamp presentations have been focused on deepening a technical audience’s understanding of: SMART-on-FHIR, FHIR-enabled eReferral, CDS Hooks, etc.
