Mark your calendars for the upcoming IHE International World Summit.

The event is scheduled to run between June 7-8, 2016 in Amsterdam, NL adjacent to the European e-Health Week (June 8-10, 2016) organized at the request of the European Commission by HIMSS Europe in partnership with the Dutch Ministry of Health. E-Health Week is expected to attract over 2,300 participants and over 100 exhibitors making it a very attractive venue for holding the IHE World Summit.

This year’s World Summit revolves around the following three themes:
  • Empowering people
  • Trust and Standards
  • Social Innovation and Transition
With opening keynotes from IHE and the EU Commission, the Summit will feature a number of panel discussions over its two day programme. Final schedule is not yet published, however, panels are expected to cover the following topics:
  • Essentials of IHE
  • National Perspectives and Planning a Health Revolution
  • IHE Implementations - Case Studies
  • Annual Topic – Patient Summaries
  • IHE Conformity Assessment Testing
Given that the schedule and content is not yet firm, there is an opportunity to get involved and make your voice heard.

In case you or someone you know is a good speaker, has interesting and relevant material relating to the panel topics listed above and would like to participate in the discussion, please let us know so that we can bring this information forward to the organizing committee. Panels are expected to be made up of a balanced mix of 4-5 International speakers and one moderator.
