IHE has just released a new profile called Sharing of IPS (sIPS), which binds the HL7 IPS FHIR implementation guide with the "XDS family" document sharing infrastructure. This includes the use of MHD alongside the FHIR IG, as Canada has adopted for PS:CA. sIPS also provides guidance on On Demand Access to an IPS (which I know Canada is investigating), Publishing an IPS, Retrieving an IPS, and Pushing an IPS to a Recipient... all using IHE's FHIR-based profiles.
