Wanted to draw your attention to a recent article in the The New England Journal of Medicine on 'Failed Assignments - Rethinking Sex Designations on Birth Certificates: www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp2025974 The articles discusses the importance of moving away from seeing sex as a binary, and call to remove the practice of have sex designated on birth certificates.
