Marc's presentation is entitled: Building digital biomedical research networks for genomics and precision health.
On this presentation, Marc will present open standards and technologies for federated sharing, access, discovery, and analysis of genomics and biomedical data. DNAstack partners with precision medicine initiatives, research consortiums, infrastructure providers, patient advocacy groups, hospitals, startups, funders, pharma companies, and governments to build biomedical research networks. For example, they are working with the Government of Ontario and Genome Canada to support the provincial and national response to COVID, and with an international consortium called the Autism Sharing Initiative to create a global federated research network for autism and neuroscience. Marc leads the Discovery Work Stream as part of the Global Alliance for Genomics & Health, which develops technical standards that make genomics and biomedical data more findable.
Improving the quality of patient care through the effective sharing of clinical information among health care organizations, clinicians and their patients.
