As we have posted in the minutes from this week's call, we are soon going to open up nominations for the HL7 Affiliate Chair Position as well as for two of the member at large positions on the Canada Council: one of the private sector reps, and one of the public sector reps.
We need a short call on
Jan 28th of next week
to determine whose positions will come up for renewal. An existing Council Member can choose to withdraw in their role or re-offer for the position. However, if that doesn't occur we can use random chance to determine whose position remains and whose position will come open.
Please be sure to attend the call so that we can determine the open positions and commence with the nomination and balloting process. Let me know if current council members cannot attend and we will re-book.
