I downloaded the reconciliation package and then went to our ballot comments spreadsheet only to find that all comments from Canada were Affirmative / with Suggestions. However, in my balloting instructions to you as a group I indicated we were voting Negative on this item, and this seems to be a mistake on my part.
If you have not already done so, go to the HL7 Ballot Desktop:
- select the 2019 May Ballot Cycle,
- scroll down the list to the FHIRCast item
- click on the Negative hyperlink in that row
- select Withdraw and provide the reason as "This vote should have been Affirmative with Suggestions. See comment from Ron Parker."
Interestingly, I have not yet received a request to withdraw our other 2 negative votes.
Thanks for doing this, in the future I will watch more carefully to ensure voting instructions align with comments.
