- Ken (Sinn) attends the IPS work calls – has been putting together a summary of the call information for Canadian implementers; contact him if wanting to be on the list!

3. Stream Updates:

CA Baseline:
- Planning on a v1.2 package released before the break
- Pursuing 2.0 release early in new year that will include canonical URL update that's been socialized previously
- On the canonical URL update – settled on one based on HL7canada.ca, getting some urging to go after HL7.ca, may be some shift in that before things get published

SMART North:
- HALO – project by CHI, based on SMART on FHIR spec
- aiming to have a standardized integration as a consistent framework to connect SoF with EMRs
- has SoF support, aligns with SoF spec and goes a bit beyond; it also touches on the Ontario Viewlet framework
- BC and ON are involved on this & solving for various use cases, working on SoF compliance, how do we talk to different FHIR servers, etc
- ON is also working on enhancing their viewlet framework, solving for use cases for EMRs who don't have SoF capabilities – how do we accelerate those stakeholders' capabilities
- SMART North is tackling topics like how EMR vendors will get engaged on HALO, getting into deeper technical discussions and field questions from these stakeholders; likely will continue to discuss in future calls

4. Wrap-up:
- Going forward, should we be adding the Building Blocks for CSD (Dean) as a regular stream update
- CSD just published and in pre-draft – tomorrow will be starting next set of updates (bulk export, maintenance of data, and more)
- CSD: based on IHE MCSD
- Working with ON on their PHSD
- Looking at doing a plugathon session in Feb
- CSD project in simplifier: simplifier.net/guide/ca-csd?version=preBallot-1.0.0
