Hi all!
Thanks everyone for joining for today's session! Please see below for the recording & notes from today's FHIR Implementers Quarterly Community Call:
Recording:
Intros:
- Welcome Mukesh! Mukesh has worked continually with the CA Baseline workstream, but this was his first time joining for the broader Community Call
FHIR North:
- FHIR North is October 22, 23
- As of today (Aug 28th), 72 hours left for early bird tickets
- Call for speakers is open! Visit the FHIR North Conference site to submit your session opportunity
- Please see the following forum post for more details and links:
infocentral.infoway-inforoute.ca/en/forum/301-patient-summaries/5728-join-us-at-fhir-north-2024-early-bird-registration-now-open#9596
Community Shout outs:
- Ken Sinn from Infoway provided an update on the Pan Canadian Specifications; preparing for a projectathon in 2025 for the Pan Canadian specs; short timeline for feedback from the Community, in order to have a code-freeze in time for the projectathon
Stream Updates:
eReferral:
- eReferral spec & team are in ballot reconciliation at the moment
SMART North:
- Because of limited availability throughout the summer the SMART North group has been on hiatus until September
- Most recently, had some SMART on FHIR demos from SMILE
- Calls are resuming with their next call on September 6th
CA Baseline:
- (Governance) identifying the deprecation process
- (Profiling) applying technical considerations for invariants, planning for a 2.0 major update, which will also have a canonical update to the URL
Value of the Community Calls:
- Re-opened discussion on feedback on ongoing value of Quarterly Community Calls for additional feedback from the group
- Would like to hear more from vendors about new FHIR implementation projects & use cases they're working on
- We have lots of Infoway WGs - would be great to have a summary slide of what's happening (both across all the Infoway work but also the Community's workstreams)
Thanks everyone!
