SMART on FHIR
• Interest from organizations within the Ontario eReferral Network to expand the number of FHIR resources that their vendors can scope when creating new referrals
• Intent is to using patient summary initiatives (IPS, ON-PS) profiles as a starting point
• Consider a showcase session of vendors that have SMART live in their products and a follow-up effort to build consensus on the profiling
• Raise awareness with architects that SMART on FHIR as an architectural pattern option for viewers and specialty functionality as compared to it always having to be full bi-directional integration

• FYI - Ken has identified minor issues with validating terminologies with Inferno and HL7 Validator tool when validating SNOMED CT display texts and patient summary related value sets.
Canadian Baseline
• Alignment with Infoway and CIHI planning to ensure there isn't duplication of effort
• Lining up endorsement from jurisdictions and vendors
