I doubt there was any discussion outside of the PrescribeIT team.

Before registering it, a search would be advised - it is highly likely that a similar list has already been registered with HL7

CodeSystem and ValueSet for the provinces and territories of Canada was created by Igor Sirkovich

I've noticed that under the ePrescribe/PrescribeIT domain, the Terminology Gateway defines a ValueSet "fhir.infoway-inforoute.ca/ValueSet/canadianjurisdiction" which is based on a CodeSystem "canadapost.ca/CodeSystem/ProvinceCodes".

I'm wondering if there was any discussion beyond the ePrescribe/PrescribeIT project on the use of these ValueSet and CodeSystem. Is there any appetite to include these in the Canadian Baseline IG and/or to register the CodeSystem with HL7?
