FHIR North - Marketing for the Community
• Parlay the presentations into workstreams
o Many of the presentations are being delivered by active members of the community
• Raising awareness to participants about the Community and how they can get involved
• Participation in the broader HL7 community particularly in the ballot review activities
• Reconvene this meeting soon after the conference to capitalize on the momentum
Action: Gavin/Michael to raise with the planning committee where to plant these types of messages

ACTION: Michael will be the point of contact for EMR Vendor

Hold meeting in late October for idea generation and then a follow-up meeting in December.
• We can gauge whether there is increased participation

Appointment Booking system procurement document mentions FHIR compatability

• eReferral deals with appointments but it's only to convey the selected appointment
• Tim plans to initiate discussion/work around booking workflow

• Published the next version of the iGuide
• Largely for clarity, some modest technical changes
• Process to make further updates is fuzzy
• What's next? Healthcare Service, OTN eConsult merge into eReferral, Appointments
• There will be a presentation at FHIR North from St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton about how they mapped Epic's HL7 v2.x messages to the eReferral iGuide APIs to enable the full eReferral workflow

HL7 Canada
• Even ballots that are marked US Realm is still important
• Attending workgroup meetings and Connectathons, particularly by implementers
• Ron provides updates at the monthly meetings

SMART on FHIR
• eForms business use case
• Demo from Smile CDR
• Looking at the eReferral SoF pathway

CA Baseline
• Getting closer to opening to a broader review
