Hope it works for everyone!
Kindest,

Hi all -- this looks really cool and I'd also like to participate. I definitely hope that our HL7 stalwarts can attend, so hope we can accommodate their schedule conflicts.
I do want to also put onto the radar that there is a very mature IHE Profile on this exact topic. The mobile Care Services Discovery (mCSD) profile is designed to support an "interlinked registry" that cross-references organizations, facilities, care providers, and healthcare services. Information about mCSD can be found here: wiki.ihe.net/index.php/Mobile_Care_Services_Discovery_(mCSD) . There is a link to the TI Supplement at the bottom of that wiki page. I have first-hand experience with this IHE Profile, and its XML-based predecessor (CSD) in multiple implementations and would be happy to answer questions as best I'm able (or to point folks to those that can better answer questions that are out of my technical depth).
Warmest regards,
Derek

Thanks Radhika,
I am interested in participating, but the second half of this session is right in the middle of the virtual HL7 Working Group meeting. Would others have a conflict with this as well?

Virtual Workshop :: HealthcareService Directory was created by Radhika Verma
Hello,
Hope you're doing well and staying safe! The eReferral WG Community is planning a two day virtual workshop to create HealthcareService Directory specification. Below mentioned are the details from WG co-chair, Tim Berezny.
Many thanks!
Radhika
Come help build the FHIR profiles to promote the interoperability of Canadian health service directory listings information.
This is a two-day virtual workshop on
- Tues Sept 15th - 10:00am-5pm EST
- Tues Sept 22nd - 10:00am-5pm EST
REGISTRATION LINK: zmurl.com/healthcareservice
The objective is to build and publish a usable v1 Healthcare Service directory specification that can be used for testing integrations, built collaboratively by industry and government stakeholders.
In particular, the output of this workshop should allow participants to build a GET HealthcareService API for retrieving FHIR HealthcareService resources and related resources (i.e., Organization, Endpoint, Location, and possibly PractitionerRole + Practitioner).
This is an off-shoot of the Canadian FHIR eReferral working group. The primary use case will be providing listings data the can be used to identify and route eReferrals. In addition, participants will bring their use cases to the workshop, and will actively work together to build the specification in a way that accommodates the spectrum of requirements.
All registered participants will be invited to an online collaborative workspace where pre-work and workshop documentation will be shared.
