Discussion
• The group discussed the Cardinality & Must Support Definitions artefact; key is ensure that the sub-streams approve of the definitions so they can be relied on during their reviews of their profiles
• Create/Update Scenario
o Must-Support makes sense in the query scenario (e.g. needing to support key query parameters)
o But for Create/Update scenario, not as realistic that the client SHALL supply the MS element
• Suggestion is to look at existing elements that have the MS flag, and see if based on the definitions in the artefact it still makes sense for those elements to have the MS flag
• Key point is that the usage of the MS flag needs to be consistent
• Majority of questions are centered around the B and C configuration cases
• Action Item: Make a sample workflow / business case for B and C configurations
• Medications and Entities stream leads confirm that the existing definitions work well for their reviews, will still review existing MS flags to confirm that things make sense
• Action Item: all from the Community to reach out if there are any questions about the artefact and its definitions
Just a couple of items to keep in mind over the next week or so.
