• Sheridan walked through the process diagram for how changes can be edited and published to both IG Pub and Simplifier
• Licensing – are there any backup plans if the licensed cannot be renewed? Will want to ensure that the timeline of the project goes beyond the licensing for these tools?
• The files themselves are insulated and can be used in many other places; that content wont change if the tooling licenses change
• Would be ideal if there is a national group to house these files as a repository
• (above is a question of data sovereignty)
• Smita walked the group through the use of the Forge tool
• How do we constrain elements like PostalCode to validate against national directories, like Canadian postal code directory? Is there a technical capacity to do this with FHIR or do we have it as an instruction in the iGuide?
• How to enforce the formatting?
• Can use a regular expression so it conforms to a certain format; will need to research further
• Will post a question to chat.fhir.org or zulip chat
•
www.hl7.org/fhir/extension-regex.html
• This page provides an example of a constraint for US zip codes / Canadian postal codes:
hl7.org/fhir/DSTU1/patient-daf-dafpatient.html
• Sheridan walked the group through the way that the work being done, content being drafted, is reflected in both GitHub and Simplifier
• Point is that we can create synonymous views
• How do we wan to tackle the narrative / supporting content for each of the profiles? (the introductory / notes content)
• AI: Mike to reach out to Tim and Yaron and will ask how they are handling the non-SD content for the profiles, for their iGuide?
• AI: Mike to post to forum to get everyone thoughts on the arrangement of meeting times for SN and IS
• Tues at 11am: Health Terminologies Community on Sex and Gender: Francis Presenting
