Update: Feedback from FHIR Community on OHT Digital Health Playbook

Update: December FHIR Community Call
• December 2019 Community Call is CANCELLED; will resume in January 2020
• Stream Leads will decide whether or not to maintain their regular calls during holiday season

eReferral
• eReferral Implementation Guide – 2nd version to be published next week
• new version includes new flows / pathways
• including a ‘central intake’ model; how someone could send a referral from the community to a LHIN system
• links for new version to be posted on InfoCentral forum when ready

Solution Architecture & Canadian FHIR Baseline Profiles
• over the last month, the SA stream calls have been used to discuss Canadian Core governance / stakeholder engagement topics; approach is planned to continue unless there are specific Solution Architecture topics that are brought up for discussion
• Canadian FHIR Baseline Profiles (Canadian Core) stream now has 3 sub-streams (Individuals and Entities, Clinical, and Medications) which will each focus on a thematic group of core FHIR profile drafts; allows the community to review more frequently and helps share the facilitation responsibility
• Big thank-you to Shamil Nizamov, Igor Sirkovich, and Scott Prior for stepping up to lead these new sub-streams
• Meeting dates & times are weekly, and are posted on InfoCentral along with all other events and meetings

Concluding Comments
• In case anyone in the FHIR Community is interested, the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement is launching an Innovation Challenge around Mental Health and/or Home and Community Care for groups to apply to (up to $400,000 can be granted); for more information: www.cfhi-fcass.ca/WhatWeDo/challenges/priority-challenge
