FHIR North

• Final program agenda to be released soon
• Continued call for group members to spread the word to point-of-service vendors, groups that may use or benefit from eReferral specs and solutions, etc.
• Badges will be available to FHIR Implementations WG team members at the conference

FHIR Profile Template

• Seeking input and uptake from group members, implementers, and spec writers
• need to standardize the look and feel of these profiles; this way they will be more standardized when being viewed and accessed from Simplifier.net
• ACTION ITEM – All – provide input on the layout of the FHIR Profile Template

Other Updates

• April Community Call is cancelled as it coincides with the FHIR North Conference

eRefferal

• Done writing the summary description of what eReferral content will be demonstrable and accessible at FHIR North; i.e. what they are prepared to provide in an eReferral sandbox
• Will not be the entire scope of the eReferral spec, but 3 basic flows
o Sending JSON package
o Retrieving JSON package
o Launching eReferral process within a SMART on FHIR window
• ACTION ITEM - Working group should share the eReferral link : simplifier.net/guide/eReferraldraftiGuide/FHIRNorthCodeCamp
• Demonstrators include SmileCDR, Think Research, and Strata Health

SMART on FHIR

• Worked on clarifying the 3 main architectural and business models: Web App, Simple Webpage, Native App
• Continuing to look for representation from FHIR-enabled systems and third party apps that can work together via SMART on FHIR as an effective use case
• URL for SMART on FHIR pages on Infoscribe and Simplifier: infoscribe.infoway-inforoute.ca/display/FHIR/SMART+on+FHIR and simplifier.net/CanadianSMARTonFHIR

FHIR Tooling

• Working on extending the contract with Furore and Simplifier
• Also creating a service for use in FHIR North; user can interact with Simplifier
• No reason to expect that user will have their basic access disrupted during this time re: renegotiating the contracts; worst case scenario user may not be able to collaborate on the platform briefly

Solution Architecture

• Hosted presentation from Canada Health Infoway on PrescribeIT
• Still looking at getting more URIs from more groups / jurisdictions / providers
• Requests for URIs are still being maintained in the google sheet
