• ACTION ITEM – Savage – Conduct bi-monthly Review of content on FHIR working group landing page (November/January/March/etc.)
• ACTION ITEM – Tim/eReferral stream – Draft plan for promoting and socializing FHIR-based eReferral work; ideas discussed: Event at FHIR North
• ACTION ITEM – Gavin, Yaron, Melva, Attila – Coordinate call for joint initiative between FHIR and HL7 communities (for education, training, etc.)
• ACTION ITEM – All – Call for volunteers to collaborate with Tim on the eReferral FHIR Implementation Guide / Spec

Agenda and Action Items Review

• Reviewed the action items which have been closed since the November Community Call

Updates: FHIR North

• Date is set for April 26th 2018; web page is live; held at Mohawk College
• Connectathon is now considered ‘Code Camp’
• Can volunteer to be a speaker
• A good opportunity to demonstrate the eReferral workflow(s)?
• For CodeCamp: will be doing a webinar before the conference to prepare the coders
• eHealth Ontario: will be showcasing Innovation Lab / DHDR / DHIR
• Maybe do a SMART applications workshop?

Update: eReferral

• Tim provided the update
• Most of the architecture-focused items are accomplished
• Goal is to complete the first formal review
• Looking for people in FHIR to work with Tim to help write the Specification
• ACTION ITEM – call for volunteers to collaborate with Tim on the eReferral FHIR Implementation Guide / Spec

Update: SMART on FHIR

• Attila provided the update
• Feb 16th is the next meeting, will be re-doing meeting #2 for hopefully a larger audience
• Post-Feb 16th we’ll be able to draw up the next steps; namely, what needs to be ‘true’ for a system to be ‘SMART on FHIR-enabled’
• Auth0: a web service, can be deployed for OAuth2 purposes, could be a great supporting tool

Update: FHIR Tooling

• Attila provided the FHIR Tooling workstream update
• Attila currently looking at being able to pool the Simplifier.net / Canadian FHIR Registry under the Canada Health Infoway banner; Attila tracking this item’s status

Update: Solution Architecture

• Igor provided the update
• Will have PrescribeIT presentation coming up
• Looked at use of Mirth and its applicability for SMART on FHIR / CDS Hooks
• Will be helpful for FHIR WG members to review the stream’s list of OIDs / URIs and check for correctness

Update: Additional Items

• eScheduling as a stream is still on hold until more progress is made in the newest stream, SMART on FHIR / CDS Hooks
• New items may arise following the HL7 Working Group meeting in New Orleans
