Hi Health Terminologies members,

Just a friendly reminder about the upcoming online information session on the Health Terminology Standards Certificate program offered by the University of Victoria. This certificate program, accredited by the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM), is now accepting applications for fall 2024.

If you work in the health industry and are involved with or have an interest in health terminologies and standards, interoperable electronic health record, and clinical coding and classification, then this Certificate Program in Health Terminology Standards is for you. This is a 1-year, part-time program with four courses taught in weekly online evening classes and a virtual workshop. Graduates of this program are eligible for the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM) Terminology Standards Specialist Certification.

The next cohort starts in September 2024 with an application deadline of June 1, 2024
